Bio

Shaday Moore is a fine arts photographer based in Tāmaki Makauru, Aotearoa.

Moore’s practice is primarily lens-based art; photography and moving image. Her work is conceptually based around absences and presences of human life and the traces of present in the world. She is interested in time and space, and the relationships people share with these spaces.

Her current interests for working projects lay within the realms of the mundane and everyday events of a human life. Giving appreciation to the overlooked simplicity of daily routines. Allowing ordinary interactions humans have within spaces to be given significance.

Overall, her work is often documentation of humans through other aspects of their life, rather than their own physical being. And acknowledging their presence through trace evidence and other forms of proof of their existence in spaces throughout the world.
